The upcoming blockchain game has revealed its launch date.

Reta Wars will be available to players from October 3 – and the project says it is determined to usher in a new era of GameFi.

It is a “war to win” strategy game powered by NFTs, in which two decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) strategically compete for revenue.

The game involves using NFT heroes to grow the territory, craft compelling strategies with fellow players, and lead their faction to victory.

Each NFT hero will have the ability to produce resources when driving, or fighting enemies in battle – and they will be a crucial component of the cleverly named “Retaverse”.

The launch of Reta Wars will be preceded by a pre-opening sale of NFT Champions, which will be on sale at reduced prices for one week starting September 26.

great achievements
Those behind Reta Wars say they have taken care to build a sustainable ecosystem – a marked departure from previous play-to-earn games that contained unsustainable tokens.

Reta Wars has been put through its beta phases through a beta phase, which has achieved a retention rate of over 60%. Furthermore, nearly 80% of the participants had positive reactions to the game.

Headquartered in Seoul, Korea, and one of the centers of gaming excellence, Reta Wars plans to impress at the Tokyo Game Show, which takes place September 15-18. The event has earned a reputation for being one of the world’s most famous gaming conferences, its history and influence since its launch in 1996.

It has partnered with YGG Japan, the country’s largest GameFi union, to conduct a series of sessions and promotions about Reta Wars – educating enthusiasts about the title’s potential.

The game will initially be available in Japanese, but support for other languages will be revealed quickly when Reta Wars begins to build a global audience.

Lots of momentum
Reta Wars points to its high retention rates and overwhelming positive feedback as evidence that its product will be loved by the community.

In an announcement outlining its official launch plan, the project said, “A lot of GameFi projects are flooding this market, but we all know it’s still rare to ‘finish’ with a convincing result. Especially in a bearish cryptocurrency market like today, it is. Completing a great project. But we had strong convictions, strong skills and a clear vision.”

Developers continued to criticize projects that focused too much on pre-marketing rather than actual outcomes that benefit the people who matter most: the players themselves.

Backed by a strong governance system, the team behind Reta Wars says this game is only the beginning – and plans to add more games to the ecosystem in due course.

The staking, battle simulators, customizable skins, custom market and expansion plan are due to be revealed by the end of this year – meaning there will be no shortage of new content and features for players to look forward to.
